The weekend is upon us and time for the 2nd Pan-European tournament of the year and all roads (and ferry lanes) lead to Guernsey!

The ladies will be resting up this weekend in anticipation of Limerick next month, but 14 hardy bucks of the Amsterdam mens team set off looking to secure our second European trophy of the year, and our third consecutive Shield tournament win following on from our successes in Maastricht last November, and most recently, in Belgium in September.

While seven of the lads were smart enough to get our flight bookings in early, and are eagerly awaiting our stop-over in beautiful Southampton Airport this evening on the way to Guernsey, the same can't be said of the other seven! They set off last night in a number of cars (well if you can count Neville's Mini as a real car), and have driven throughout the night, and are currently en route to St. Malo in France to get a ferry to Guernsey. Fair play to the boys for making the long trip to help the team out.

Here's to a cracking weekend, and to taking home another cup!
